The SAGAS meeting, which usually meets at the South Downs Planetarium in Chichester, moved to the Clanfield Observatory site for the April meeting and AGM.  The Clanfield Observatory is the home of the Hampshire Astronomical Group who hosted this recent meeting.

The 21 delegates, representing  14 astronomical societies across the south were, during a break in proceedings, able to tour the observatory which has 5 domes, a sundial and 2 x meteor cameras monitoring the night sky as part of the UKMON network. The Hampshire Astronomical Group were able to demonstrate their new 0.6m RC telescope, installed in July 2014.

As one can see we were blessed with a clear sky and glorious sunshine.
