Chris Bowden from sent us the following images taken from the deck of the Boudicca North East of the Faroe Isles.   Chris reports that ” it was an absolutely stunning sight which we were so lucky to have seen as prior to totality we had overcast skies and rough seas with even some snow to begin with!   We were on a themed cruise with the Sky at Night team visiting Norway with some stunning scenery and awesome aurora with the icing on the cake being a truly glorious Total Solar Eclipse on the 20th March. We were extremely fortunate to be the only vessel to observe the whole of totality from this location through a patch of clear sky during a nail biting chase on choppy seas. I put a video together which you can see here where I used four cameras to capture the atmosphere; a Sony A77 MkII, a Sony Handicam, a Sony Action Cam and an iPad; footage from which is included separately at the end of the video. A video of the whole trip is on YouTube here.
