Financial Policy

The SAGAS Committee will raise sufficient funds annually from membership subscription to pay for the facilities and the support of activities provided over the year. The funds raised will cover all expenditure, including insurance, incidental costs and liabilities, with the aim of a small annual surplus.

A small fee may be charged to all non-members1 attending functions organised or financed by the Society.

Annual surplus of funds will be used to build a bank account cash reserve which will be available to meet extra-ordinary costs or purchases.

This financial policy is supplementary to the Constitution of the SAGAS Society, which takes precedence.

1 A member is an individual who is a fully paid up member of any SAGAS member society.
